Rename internal HD from untitled to something else.

How do I change the name of my internal hard drive. I had to do a clean re-install of snow leopard because I let someone borrow my computer, and now I don't feel safe security wise. I forgot to name it during the disk utility clean re=install. It named it untitled by default, but I would like to name it something else.

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6)

select the hard drive on the desktop and press enter. this will make its name editable. change it to anything you want. if it doesn't show up on the desktop go to finder preferences->general and check the box to show hard drives on the desktop.

So it is a very simple solution and nothing to worry about after you change it? I also noticed the mouse pad is not working like it use to before the clean install. It no longer does the soft clicking and selecting. I have to push down the mouse pad to make it select items. Do you know anything about that, or should I repost this? Thanks by the way.

yes.

Everything seems to work fine now. I went to system preferences and clicked on touchpad. The one finger click button was not highlighted so I chose it and that worked. Thanks so much.
