Fading music in slideshow

Does anyone know how to get the music to fade out at the end of an iPhoto slideshow? It just quits abruptly now. I don't want to adjust the length of slide duration to the music since some of my slideshows only have a few slides, and they would stay on screen for way too long if I used that option.

You can't I'm afraid.

For fine control over your slideshow make it in iMovie, and app like PhotoToMovie or Final Cut.

Your best bet would be to import the audio into an editor like the freeware Audacity, chop it into the length of your slideshow and add auto fade in/fade out. Then you can export it as an MP3, import it to iTunes and add it to your slideshow.
