use iPhone to listen FM radio without streaming internet data

i just got a new iphone this week.
does the iphone has its own fm tuner / application, so when listen fm radio, i dont use internet data.
currently i installed Nova, but it uses internet to listen radio.

There has been practically no discussion on this topic. Did it shut people up about the possibility of FM Radio?

I for one would love to have it for one simple reason, my gym transmits TV audio over FM signals.

Interested hear your thoughts on the 9to5mac article.
