When I use Ical for my Imac I can configure it to create reminder alerts of all newly created appointments by default, instead of setting the reminder myself. On my iPhone I have to manually set the reminders for each appointment I enter. Is there a way to make appointment alerts/reminders default on the iPhone?
I have just moved to an iPhone 3GS from a Windows Mobile phone and so this is probably a noob question, but I could not find out how to set the default alert time for appointments either. I am used to having it set at 15 mins and really need this to be the default time.
I couldn't agree more. I've missed several appointment because the reminders did not pop up. It's difficult to remember to set the reminder when you're used to the calendar automatically doing it for you.
