I've downloaded my photos into iphoto from a Digital SLR and the space one photo takes is about 3MB. When I send the photo from iphoto, even though I choose the highest quality to send, only sends out a 93KB photo. How do I overcome this?
Oh wow, that helped a lot thanks! I did try it with the use of "actual size" and still wondering - the original photo was 2.9 MB and the one, using your suggestion, that I was able to put on email was only 2.1. Is this just an assumed loss?
No, there is always some measure of compression when you send from within iPhoto. So the File -> Export route is the way to go, then attach the file from the desktop. After you have sent the email you can trash the file from your desktop.
