Google won't load with safari or firefox

Hi
Just today I have found that I can't download google. Whatever way I try, typing in the bar, clicking home or clicking on Google on the task bar, nothing happens. I have no problem with any other site. This issue isn't confined to Safari, I have the same problem using firefox. Could it be something to do with the machine blocking access.

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I have no solution to offer as I am having the same problem. None of the Google services are accessible to me (just every now and then the page will load (google.com) but after that it will fail again). I have the problem at home AND at the library. I can retrieve my Gmail on my iPhone though, so the problem must be with some setting or so on my macbook. It's just that I haven't changed anything. I hope someone finds a solution to this problem.

yes! its REALLY annoying no?!

its like a crap shoot, works then doesn't, works, then doesn't ... would be having a conversation on gchat, then idk the connections fails, idk what has been sent to them or not. I like google to search stuff, and lately i can't seem to rely on it 😟
