Computer Won't Recognize iPod
My 5th generation iPod Nano (one month old) suddenly is not syncing when I plug it into the computer. It is charging, so I know the USB cord and the USB ports are working. But the computer won't recognize it (i.e., it doesn't show up in iTunes and the iPod screen doesn't change).
I tried the 4 of the 5 "r's" in the support section, and my last option is to just reformat it and erase everything, which is what I'm trying to avoid.
I searched the forum but I didn't see this issue. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
