PC doesn't Recognize iPhone

There's no fee; your computer is the "host" for the ad hoc network. The computer essentially becomes a WiFi router.

I looked on my phone/Internet on how to set up the ad hoc network found it but no luck!

OK - RANDOM fix I wanted to share.

The cord I was using to plug into the computer (from iPhone to computer) was a FOR CHARGING ONLY cord. (There's a little tab on the cord stating as much).

As soon as I switched the cord, my PC recognized the iPhone immediately, and everything worked as normal.
