Screen Sharing Full Screen?

not possible with built-in screen sharing unless you have Apple remote desktop. but it's possible with 3rd party VNC clients link JollyfastVNC.

While not officially "supported" it is quite possible to do this with the built-in screen sharing. In fact, there are many ARD features that one can "enable". I haven't verified this with Snow Leopard yet, but it works with Leopard. I suspect it still works with Snow Leopard. Mac World put together a nice article on it a while back (2007).

BTW, I tested this in Snow Leopard just now. Doesn't seem to be as capable as with Leopard. Or maybe the controls are different.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP! I had purchased a mac mini for my parents and my grandparents in Florida. I live in NY and I communicate with them frequently. When they have technical computer questions we log onto ichat and start screen sharing. I simply take control of their screen and go from there. This worked great until my grandparents switched internet providers from Comcast to AT&T... I'm on Verizon. Has anyone run into a problem with screen sharing via these two internet providers? My screen sharing works fine with Bellsouth.net, Optimum Online, Verizon and Comcast, but WILL NOT work with AT&T, does anyone know a solution, other than having them switch from AT&T to comcast??

If you're still unable to get screensharing working, try logmein.com. The free client has worked great for me - behind firewalls I don't control, etc. They'll need to install the logmein client, but after that, it's pretty much configuration-free.

Not as fast as screensharing, but it has ALWAYS worked for me.

On screen-sharing, how do I initiate this process again? When I first got the Mac I was able to share the screen - but have since lost the app/process of getting it back up and running again. Any help - out there?
