Missing camera
Missing usb slot

I have do go through an add on adapter - I can live with that, barely but I can survive. Why? Cause the option to add it on is still there. I have the "Choice"

No Flash - is baffling. For a tablet where 1 of it's purpose is to surf the internet how can you omit flash support? Yes there are lots of site not using flash but there are also lots of sites that are using flash. Just because Steve doesn't go to sites with flash doesn't mean everything doesn't.

Does it matter if it's a dying technology? Nope, because if "flash is dead" and no website supports flash then flash will do nothing. Plain and simple, there's no harm in having flash on the device.

Where my choice of using flash? I have the option to allow java to run on my iphone why can't that be the same with the ipad? why not let me have the option of using flash. Give me a little button in "settings" that allows me to enable or disable flash.

Essentially Steve Jobs in a indirect way is controlling where you can surf with the Ipad.

that's actually not true. Adobe has tried to come out with software for both iphone/itouch/ipad and Apple hasn't let them. So this is an Apple issue, when a company blocks another company access to their product.

I understand that there are arguments for how good/not good it is, but what it comes down to is flash is an important part of the majority of users browsing experience. Apple should give them the option of using it if they want, or turning it off, not a hard thing to do.

I think there are actually some complex issues behind the lack of Flash on the iPhone/iTouch. In a recent press conference, Steve Jobs reportedly referred to Adobe as "lazy," so I'd say that the relationship between Apple and Adobe is probably not particularly cordial.

I have not been particularly impressed with Adobe in my dealings with them regarding problems I've had with Mac versions of their professional software products. Their support response leaves much to be desired, and it appears to me that the coding for the Mac version of Dreamweaver is rather sloppy, particularly as it relates to font rendering and the handling of locales in OS X.

I think the issue with Flash for Apple comes down to inefficient use of system resources. Apple is not the only company advocating for the replacement of Flash as the standard for web video with HTML5, and I expect Apple will hold out for that.

A good review of the issues can be found here:
