I have just discovered something very interesting. When I access HD YouTube videos using Safari, I am only given two options, 360p and 480p. I opened up Firefox 3.6 and Opera 10.10 (both the latest versions of the browsers) and I had the option of watching it in 720p also. Has anyone else noticed this with Safari and is there a setting that I can enable in Safari to watch HD YouTube videos in 720p? If not, thank goodness I have other browser options.
iMac,
Mac OS X (10.5.8),
2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Thanks for the link. I still wonder why only Safari allows me two options, 360p and 480p, while besides Opera and Firefox allowing 720p, every other browser I have (Camino, Flock, OmniWeb, and SeaMonkey) also allows me to watch HD videos in 720p.
