How do I remove lyrics in a song to make a karaoke version?

Hi,

I am new to music editing and only have garageband. Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial to show me how to reduce or cancel lyrics in a song using garageband?

The song is called "wrapped in your arms" by "fireflight" Just in case someone already knows where I can find the karaoke version.

Is there anywhere that shows a step by step tutorial. Im not sure how to invert the left and right channels.

I just installed the most recent Audacity on my new iMac the other day, and it had a menu option under "effects" for "remove Vocal."
