Sony vs Sennheiser

I believe you are talking about headphones, aren't you?

I have the sennheiser's and i really like them. However, i have tried the 7506's and they're more comfortable, lighter, and have stronger bass (with the exception of the really-super-low bass...the sennheisers can get sooo low). I always wish i had gotten the sony's. Also, my sennheisers hurt my ears after hours of listening.

The best answer to your question is to head down to your local audio supplier and ask to try all headphones in that "range". A good supplier will know what brands are equivalent and may even suggest something else. Only listening to them will answer what's best for you. In my personal opinion I prefer Sennheiser over Sony. Generally they have a better sound, in my opinion. I use AKGs. Excellent sound, comfortable, and I could wear them for quite a while. Good luck on your choice.

I have the Sennheiser HD-280 Pro headphones. I considered the Sony's but the salesman at Guitar Center talked me out of buying them. He said that the Sony's were always being returned by customers who bought them because the plastic brackets that connect the earcups to the headband were always breaking. I bought the Sennheisers.
