recovering corrupted MOV from SD card

I have one MOV file on an SD card that I am trying to transfer to my mac pro for editing in FCP. However, the file appears to be corrupt and I cannot export, transfer or "save as" from quicktime. When I play the file, it hangs the app when it gets to the bad spot.

I am trying to find an application for mac that will recover or repair the corrupted file and allow me to transfer it as normal.

Anybody know what works?
