tricky Wadia iTransport question....

I have an audiophile system and a Wadia iTransport for connecting my iPod to my external DAC BUT...

...was hoping to connect my laptop to the Wadia (instead of using the iPod) as my DAC does not have a USB input.

I know I can connect my iPod using various standard cables from the headphone jack or a standard dock but this will only be via an analogue signal (I want to bypass the iPod's internal DAC and send the digital signal directly to the DAC - since the Wadia is designed to take the digital signal from the iPod... I was wondering if I could use some kind of cable adapter so I can take the digital signal from the laptop, to the Wadia... 0

So, is this possible?????
