For a while now, whenever I try to search in the iTunes store, it just hangs at "Accessing iTunes Store" and never gets anywhere. I can't cancel the operation or close out iTunes when this happens so I have to end task it. Restarted the system, no luck. Any ideas?
I have this same exact problem on multiple Windows 7 machines. I would say %50 of the searches I do in iTunes end with a hang on Accessing iTunes Store.
Having this problem too with 9.0.3.15 on Win7. It gets stuck "Accessing iTunes Store..." when I attempt a search. The rest of iTunes works, I can browse music etc, but I cannot cancel the "Accessing iTunes Store..." or even close the program -- requires a force quit. I was able to search the store just a few days ago and I don't think iTunes has updated since then.
Any answers yet? I've tried a system restore and a re-installation of iTunes. This is very frustrating. Mine doesn't freeze, but I can only load certain pages of the store, like certain apps. The home page refuses to load and just keeps saying, "Accessing iTunes Store." I can only browse certain parts of the store through the "Show Column Browser" option. I had a friend of mine look at it and he thinks the only thing to do is to wait for another update to come out that will (hopefully) fix this problem. I want to make sure apple knows about this!!!!
