Verify copied data

You can never depend on files remaining uncorrupted. Copy verification isn't going to guarantee that you won't lose those files. Copying into a disk image, regardless of what kind, is not generally an issue. (I have never seen a file fail to be copied properly into a disk image.) The problem is that if a disk image becomes even slightly corrupt, you lose everything in it. You need to have a good backup system in place. I've never seen or heard of a file getting corrupted this way. I think you are wasting your time. as Thomas says the bundle itself getting corrupted is a much more likely proposition. but I suppose if you really want to check you can make a script that checksums each individual file and compares the results. or just run diff recursively on both the source and the target directories in terminal
