Comparing documents side by side

I made the mistake of inserting corrections into one document and then continuing with a second document later on (I wasn't careful about the name the name I assigned to the edited version). Now I want to go over them both and make the corrections. How does one bring up two documents and compare them?
Thanks.

It's normal.
Pages used it's own scheme to do this kind of things before their delivery in the operating system.
We must wait for the next major upgrade to get an application taking benefit of the new sysrtem's feature.
So, we will have only one file storing the pairs used by Auto-substitution, only one to store the custom dictionary.

ark,

Open the System Preferences app and select "Keyboard & Mouse".

Click the Keyboard Shortcuts button.

Click the + button and select the application Pages.app. If Pages isn't on the list, select Other... and browse the Applications folder for it. Pages.app should be found in the iWork 09 folder.

Type the Menu Title exactly as it appears in the command tree that you use with the mouse. In this case you will type: Look Up in Dictionary and Thesaurus

Then enter your custom shortcut, click Add and you're done.
