Iphone music player starts playing, stops, skips, fast forwards by itself..

My iphone seems to now have its own identity. The ipod starts and stops by itself, it skips the songs at will, it also goes fast forward without me touching it.

Could anyone please assist me with a solution to this problem. I have now had to switch it off. Why is it doing all this.

Same thing started happening to me. No solution yet. I'm going to an Apple store tomorrow to see what's up.

Wow!! Looks like I am not alone in this world!! I think it's been a year I am using iPhone5 headphone and recently started facing this issue. Along with the skip, pause of music issues, most annoying thing is, if I use headphone while making a call, it gets disconnected randomly. I suspect the problem is with the cable joint near headphones Jack. Seems like I used my headphone pretty roughly 😉

I Have recently had this happen to me and voice control was calling random people and this was not going to help with me being a plan. I have an iPhone 4 but I am on the latest update to this very day an is 7.1.2 and personally I thought my phone would fix if I turned it off. No it didn't, I restored it this afternoon and that doesn't do anything. I would really like it and everyone else here would like it if Apple could get this together.

I have an iPhone 5 with the lastest IOS and this started happening to me as well. My only difference is that mine will do this with out any head set plugged into my iPhone. As with others, it happens randomally, will randomally switch what is playing and playback at twice or higher speed. I have not tired a factory reset so far but, will try that tonight.

I have the same problem with my iphone 5, ios7 using the apple earphones i got with the iPhone

the voice controle is activated by itself, and music starts playing, stops, skips, fast forwards by itself too..

i have tried with another headphone and works normally.. what a suck problem..
