VST Plugins For Garageband

This may be a dumb question, but does anyone know of any vst plugins that work with garageband?

Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Ok smart guy, so explain why certain VST's (such as Crystal synth and Amplitube) work with Garageband as VST's and NOT AU's??? Must mean that SOME VST's WILL work on Garageband, although only after much trial and error...

I have a picture that unfortunately I can't seem to upload, but it shows Crystal AND Amplitube as VSTS inside the VST folder of the plugins under audio, under library... library--->audio--->plugins--->vst's

don't tell me they are AU'S in disguise....

Oh, I'm sorry, did I offend you? I still don't understand how people take things to heart on forums or on the internet for that matter... jeez...

No, I don't "expect" a response to 'that'... I already know the answer - but next time, when you're unsure of something, check twice before giving out answers like that. There ARE some vst's that work with Garageband. Period.

Spoken like a true geek, Christoph, I guess you are just as lame as the rest - you have no life and spend your days on internet forums with your "apple buddies". I work, perhaps you don't know what that is - but I'm sure you were anxious to get it warmed up anyway, with a *** comment like that.

No, GB doesn't work with VSTs. The fact that you have VSTs installed on your computer only proves ... that you have installed them. And even if the effects work in GB, it could still be that you have installed the VST and the AU version installed on your machine.

You must be speaking from personal experience, I can't say I've ever suffered under the duress of i.b.s.

Christoph from Hamburg had the most logical answer on the thread.

none, GB only supports AUs, here are some:

If you already have a number of VST plugs or simply favor some that are not available as AU's you might consider getting a VST-to-AU adaptor.
