Using my TV tuner in Mac OS

I'm a recent switcher and i'm having some difficulty using my USB TV tuner with OS X. The device in question is the Pinnacle Stsrenms PCTV nanoStick (73e). The CD that came with the device doesn't appear to include a driver or other software for mac and a search of the vendors website did not resolve the issue except in confirming that the device is in fact compatible with OS X as per the technical specifications.

Does anyone know
a) If I need a driver, and where to locate it
b) What software is available for mac to view TV streams with the card assuming I can get it to work.

Regards
Smurf

Welcome to  Discussions,

the best solution to watch (and record) TV on the Mac is Elgato’s EyeTV. They offer their software with their own TV tuners, but they also are compatible with third party ones. Here you can see the compatibility list and read more info about EyeTV: http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/software/EyeTV3/product3.en.ht ml
