I have consistent problems with my magic mouse scrolling vertically on its own, i.e. when I'm not even touching the top portion of the mouse. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions?

Hey there Wolfgang I'm a Turk me self .. and the reason why I don't think it's the mouse is this .. I have exact same problems you have .. mainly with screwing up plugin presets now that's a boomer eh ? 😀
all seem to be scroll related since as soon as I disable scroll in preferences life is all good .. but for example when I use safari NOT ONCE my page scrolls on it's own . since I hold the mouse always the same and always do the same moves I have interpreted this as some how the program mis-understanding somethings .almost all the programs use scroll data .. like itunes would go through your library that way etc etc and I repeat anywhere out side those 2 apps I NEVER get the symptoms .So how am I supposed to perceive this ?

with the scroll reason I'm with you, coming from bluetooth or magic mouse.
must be a combination of both, or how both work together, then my mighty mouse
is working fine, no random scrolling, no parameter screwing.
there are different issues out there with magic mouse, others can't scroll anymore,
some have the mouse curser randomly jumping around the screen, with others the
mouse loose connection when moving from one side of the screen to the other... !!
you have problem with only two apps ???? Isn't it crazy ? Scrolling is importend for me,
can't live without 😉
everybody sais that it's a mm behavior.
....BUT, the most of mm user has no problem :-? ....not at all !!
