Hi I need help I have just instaled a fresh copy of windows xp 64bit but know I keep geting this "This iTunes installer requires windows 64-bit edition" so I did a google serch and found one from apple but then I download it and then tried to ren it it gave this meesage again "This iTunes installer requires windows 64-bit edition" Please help me!
As Chris already said, there is not and has never been a version of iTunes that was supported on Windows XP 64. Some people have managed to "force" the Vista 64 version of iTunes onto Windows XP 64, but with varying degrees of success. Search this forum for "XP 64" and you'll find a number of threads with suggestions and experiences in attempting to get it working.

There is no iTunes installer for XP64.
You will need to find instructions on the internet (not at Apple) to find out how to install the Vista 64 bit version of iTunes on XP64.
