Basic icons at the bottom of the phone

My sons have gotten hold of my iPhone. Safari has disappeared from the basic four icons on the bottom.... how do I get it back on there?

In settings, General, choose reset and then reset home screen layout which should put all the original apps back on to the home page, and the correct four down the bottom.

Incidentally, I went to settings and hit reset and it reappeared. I don't have a clue how the heck my two-year old did whatever he did, but it's taken me the better part of two hours trying to resolve it without having to completely restore.... Thanks for your input (as always).

errrrrgh. Now my two year old did the same thing to my husband's iPhone.... and resetting didn't work for his 😟 Anyone else have any ideas? I really don't want to restore (and lose a bunch of stuff) if I don't have to.

Help? Please?

It has either bee moved to another page or the rectrictions are set:

Nope. It's not anywhere. It's Safari, one of the four icons at the bottom that I thought you never could remove. I'll check out your link, though.

You cannot remove it. It could be moved to another page or the restrictions are set, which would hide the icon.

You can learn how to turn off restrictions in the manual.

Thanks again, Roamingnome.... There aren't any restrictions set. I really did try to research my issue prior to asking the question. I'm at a complete loss
