I never said everything was ok. They told me everything was ok and that I should just keep trying because this has never happened before. So I'm left to my own devices. I've emailed Apple and haven't gotten any response back for well over a week. Now you're concerned that I entered someone else's SN. I can't enter my own number. Did you miss reading that part?
In any case, let me repeat myself before I get anybody else angry. I'm going to the Apple store and getting this straightened out in person and not entering somebody's SN. And please, no more condescending nonsense about where to find the serial number. I know that and I'm entering it, letter for letter and number for number. I think I've mentioned this about 58 times already. I enter the number. It isn't verified. Apple doesn't know/care. Conclusion: my iPod is not being serviced in the quickest possible time that it should be.
