intrusion detection software

im looking for a good quality intrusion detection software program that will monitor MAC addresses, attempt to identify operating system, log packets transferred between clients, incoming internet addresses, and extensive logging

the big ones are internet address and packets transferred, everything else makes life easier in the event of an intrusion

is there such thing for the mac platform?


tested a windows program called SAX2 by Ax3soft

its pretty nice, but i have mostly macs... is there anything like it for the mac side of life?
