.nrg file to iso ???

i need to get a .nrg dvd image ripped on Mac osx, any body know a good program or something

iMac 24" Late 2009, Mac OS X (10.5.8), 2.66 GHz intel core 2 duo, 4 Gb 1067 MHz DDR3

all i got was some command line stuff, i have NOO clue what to do with this...sorry, i'm not that smart with command lines or whatever, never dealt with that sort of thing, Also, I am trying to convert DVD images, they are all about 4.3 GB, i've downloaded and researched trying to find a tool and nothing i found would work for this, One program I downloaded was MagicISO, and another was anytoiso. they didn't support DVD images, unless of course I dealt out the cash, but then I couldn't be sure they would work. I do use google. thanks though.

The problem for you is that [.NRG is a proprietary format used by Nero|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NRG (fileformat)]. Since there is no Nero for OSX, you're going to have to convert it to something that OSX or a Mac app can deal with. Googling, the two NRG to ISO projects are either incomplete or have been abandoned.

So it looks like your only shot it to find a friend with a Windows PC and Nero. Then use Nero to convert the NRG file to an actual disk or to an ISO file.
