Download page is too big. Curser can't reach buttons. How do I resize?

I'm a photographer so being able to download photos to sites - very important.

I think my Mac Version was 4.8 before I Downloaded an upgrade today. Also downloaded Safari 4.

If it's not Photoshop I'm lost on this stuff - but now the page I select my downloads is too big and my curser can't reach the buttons (hidden below- out of screen.) How do I change this? Did I download the wrong upgrade? Thanks.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hey Carolyn....

So frustrated but thanks for your help...

Example: I post on Esty: A site to sell my photography. One on the steps is to download the pics from my files. I hit the "choose file" button and my files come up in a "Finder" window (lil two toned blue guy with two faces..)... Then I chose the photo/file I want to download.

But I can't download because the page is too long for my screen and the "select" or "Cancel" buttons - ( lower right hand corner) are hidden & my curser can't get to them.

This is the first time I've hated my Mac!

But thanks for your help

OK. Haven't solved the "size o page" problem but just by playing with the keyboard (cuz I'm so scientific about things... lol )I found a way around it:Holding down the "fn" key and hitting enter selects the file I need without the curser (shortcut!).

Question still unresolved but this I can work with until I find the better answer...

keep thinkin' and have a great day!

Hi

I believe that the choose-file window, among others... has its size/position remembered in Safari's preference file - Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.safari.plist - the 'fix' would be to quit Safari, move the file to the desktop, then test Safari again (a new file would be created automatically, and if there was no improvement, the switch could be reversed)

If you have another user account - see if it works in that... Safari's plist file is unique to each account, so it ought to behave correctly if the plist file is the issue.

Hey Andy!

Cool. Thanks!

I do 8 x 10 urban-b/w-graffiti-candid-esque shots/Graffiti alphabets, etc (timsnyderphotography.etsy.com), so my stuff is more artsy than crafty and kind of a specific taste...

...but it's my passion and I love it, my prices are dirt cheap (just to get my work out there)..but I've had over 40 sales in less than a year, and my first $100 portrait sold last week, so that's cool, too.

When you consider how many artists and products there are on Etsy - I'll take it.

Why? Are you a photographer?

Have a great night ,

Tim
