Automated video editing on MAC

Hi,

I work as a professional FCP editor and I have been asked to do some research into automated editing software. Does anyone know if muvee Reveal or a similar "automated" video editing package is available for MAC? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know what you mean by automated, but after looking at the software you mentioned you might want to take a look at iMovie. It seems to do just about everything listed as a feature with Reveal.

Take a look at the stuff from Philip Hodgets and Intelligent Assistance.

It's about as automated as it gets on the Mac that I know of.

But don't look past the old iMovieHD either for some tricks.
