Photoshop for Mac 10.3.9

I was just given a Powerbook G3, I believe its from 2003 or so, and I'm having trouble updating or installing certain software. I'm a fairly new Mac user, and I really need help figuring out how to get ANY version of Photoshop onto this computer. Also, it won't let me update to the newest version of Firefox. Any help is appreciated.

Hello and welcome to Apple discussions,

I used Photoshop Elements 2 on 10.3.9 quite successfully for some years.
I think Photoshop Elements 3 also works with that version OS.

I recall a quote about PE was that it has 80% of the functionality of Photoshop, for 20% of the price.
I still use it, now version 6 on a different Mac.

You will have to look for one of the older versions secondhand. It won't be available new.

I don't think Firefox supports its browser on 10.3 so for better security, Opera or Camino are good.
