Can't sync iPhone with iTunes 9.1 after update (Windows 7)

Hi,
after the succesfull update to iTunes 9.1 synching contacts, dates (Outlook 2007) and bookmarks (Safari 4.0.5) does not work anymore. I haven't had any sync problems before the update. All other app, music and videos gets synched well.
iTunes gives two error messages (translated from german, maybe it's an localzation problem?):

1) iTunes couldn't sync information with iphone since Synchronisation is not activated. Do you want to activate Synchronisation?
If you don't activate Synchronisation, itunes can't sync contacts, dates, bookmarks and email accounts to your iphone.
When i try to activate the following error message pops up:
iTunes couldn't access the provider data from sync services. Try again.

Comletely deinstalling and reinstalling of iTunes and ipod services didn't solve the problem.
Has anybody a similar problem or a tip for me? Should I go back to iTunes 9.0.3?
Thanks for any help.

PC, Windows 7, 32 bit

OS: Windows 7 64bit
iTunes 9.1
iphone 3GS: 3.1.2

same thing happen to me. Have been working fine before I upgrade even managed to sync my iphone before I upgrade just 5 mins before.

After upgrade encounter that sync service fail with "itunes unable to provide data for sync services" error message.

tried uninstall and reboot the machine with removal %appdata%\apple computer\syncservices folder as some has mentioned and reinstall iTunes 9.1.

It didn't work at all.

Even copying of the files from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
over to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support

the error no longer pop up but data are not sync.

I did a new contact in my phone and try sync. though it show sync complete nothing is transferred.

Let's hope apple quickly come up with a resolution soon.

Just pointing out that I am having the same problem. My OS is Windows Vista 32 bits.

Since the update the iPhone don't give me the option to sync with my windows contacts. It allows me to check the box, but there isn't any option to sync with.

Update:

Tried to the copying of files from one folder to other as pointed before and it worked to me.

Same issue for me on Vista Enterprise SP1/Outlook 2007. It started after upgrading to iTunes 9.1. I get "SyncServer has stopped working" error whenever I connect iPhone to laptop. Then iTunes complains about Syncing being disabled and asks if it should enable it. I say Yes. Then I get one more error about "MDCrashReportTool has stopped working". Only then will the iphone show up in iTunes and I am able to sync music, podcasts etc...

Would be nice to have Apple acknowledge the issue so we know they are trying to identify root cause.

i percorsi:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
e
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

funziona non da più errori vari e sincronizza tutto. yahhhhhoooooo

spero di esservi stato utile.

I had the same set of problems. Resolved by modifying the %PATH% system environmental variable (accessible in XP through Control Panel->System->Advanced tab->Environmental Variables). Add "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\" before all other non-%SystemRoot%-based paths (it might already be present later in the list).

I have Windows 7, and iTunes 9.1 64 bit. I was having the same problem as everybody else since the itunes 9.1 download. I got two great Apple techs on the phone (Emily and Zack), and this is basically what they told me to do:
1) View your account under the Store menu in itunes. Make sure that your itunes is enabled (not essential, but good to do).
2) Download the mobileme control panel (even if you don't have mobileme)
3) Do a file search to locate sqlite3.dll on your computer
4) rename it to anything else
5) restart your computer
6) open up Itunes, and it worked for me!

Let me know if this helped you out.
