Using iTunes with multiple hard drives

I currently have all of my music on (3) Toshiba hard drives and I want to move it onto (2) hard drives. Once all my music has been moved to the (2) new drives what is the easiest way to have iTunes recognize the new location of my music?

Can I just change the iTunes music folder location in the advanced settings to the first drive and let iTunes update itself and then do the same for the second drive or will that not make iTunes see the new location for the music?

Thanks.

My mistake the wording should "if" i would setup 3 different libraries. I didn't do it yet.

My original problem is probably everyone's problem. Lack of space in internal hard disk. So what i want to do is have my contents (music, movies and tv shows) in 3 different hard disk and use all of them and stream to apple whenever i want.

Is that possible? If yes. How?

I know too many questions sorry 😟.

Thx again

if i were you, i would not set up different libraries. i would split my one library across various drives !

yes.

get the appropriate # of external HD's. use the procedure described above to let iTunes move the content to each drive. enjoy.
