IPad screen problem

I have been using my 64 gb iPad foe about an hour. After 45 minutes a blue line appeared about a half inch from the top of the screen. It is a pixel wide and runs the entire width of the screen. I have turned it off and on but it's still there. I live the machine but I can't live with this major distraction. Is anyone out there having the same problem?

iPad 64 gb, Mac OS X (10.4.3)

I have the same problem on my 5 month old iPad 3 Gen. I have a vertical blue line on the right in landscape orientation of the device (with the Home button on the right).

The position is at 1 inch to the display border.

I've not purchased it in an Apple Store, I've purchased it in Italy, what can I do now?
