I have noticed a couple of times today that my wifi connection will drop and a box pops up and says "Incorrect Password" enter password. Anyone else seen this?

I am/was having the same issue. I turned off the security on my router at home because I was tired of getting the "incorrect password" box, now I don't get that anymore. Unfortunately the problem has persisted in that I am just getting dropped off my home network repeatedly. I don't notice it all the time because I leave my 3G on, but it's still annoying.

Would love to hear about fixes that don't involve wiping the whole thing out and starting over...

Yeah, me again. So the WPA/WPA2 setting did nothing. I eventually got the "incorrect password" popup again. I've tried 4 security protocols on the router and they all eventually have the popup.

I've been on at least TWO OTHER wireless networks, one I know for a fact was WEP, and not had any issues. All my other Apple devices work fine on the same routers that the iPad struggles with.

I'm still pursuing my case number with Apple Support in the meantime.

I just bought my iPad and it has the same issue. I'm using wep because I have some old laptops on my network that can only use wep. That hasn't been an issue until the iPad. Now I get hit with the "Incorrect Password" message several times a day, usually when I "wake" or turn on the iPad. It goes away and the network is there, but it is REALLY annoying. iPhone is on the same network and has no issues.

I have tried all of the solutions suggested in Apple's tech support document although many of them made no sense in terms of solving the wifi password issue. It said if all else fails contact their tech support. Well that was an experience. Reggie told me to try turning off the iPad! I said I had turned it off numerous times! So he said return it. I asked if that was all the advice he had for this problem. He claimed he had never actually heard of the problem. I asked him if he looked at the posts on Apple's Help forums. He said he never went there! I asked why and he said he had been instructed to ignore them because all of the posters were posting lies and incorrect statements about Apple products!! What kind of company is this?

I had this issue with "Invalid Password" on my wifi after coming home one day. I have an iPhone 4 and its been on the network since day one with no issues until tonight. It had stormed here earlier in the day and even though my laptops and my wifes were still able to connect to the wireless the Phones ( her too) would not connect. I logged into the wireless router and forced a reset from there. Worked just fine for both of us after the reboot.
I imagine many of you have already tried this but I did not see it posted anywhere so i thought I would just throw it out there.

I hope this helps some of you.

The reset network settings worked for me too. I hadn't been able to log into one of my three routers all day. The network setting reset fixed it.
Now, if we can figure out hotel log-ins (freezes when a user ID and password must be entered).

Still, we shouldn't have to reset settings every couple of days. That's like having to reboot a windows machine!
