Too many finger prints!

Although that wipe clean fairly easily, the iPad looks like crap almost immediately after you begin touching it. Have you been to an Apple store? All there demo models look like crap because of the finger prints.

Is there any resolution to this? Is there an anti-glare screen protector available yet?

Wow. What a helpful answer. You are such an asset to this forum.

I usually hate smart-*** answers on any forums but i have to say your question is bit odd. I mean it's a glass that you have to touch with greasy fingers. Conversation kinda ends there. It's like going to a doctor and complaining about skin redness after scratching yourself in one spot. Either don't touch it or get some sort of protection for it.

Duro-Med has a solution to the oily finger tip problem, latex finger cots.

Perhaps Duro_med will come out with an anti-glare and/or clear version soon. Nice to see your finger tips minus the latex coloring! 🙂

In the meantime I have been using microfiber cleaning cloths, which do a very good job of removing oily residue. Cleaning with microfiber cloths certainly is a nuisance, but a small price to pay for the convenience of finger controlled computing. My concern is that excessive cleaning, even without any liquids, will eventually hasten deterioration of the oleophobic coating. Hopefully, by then the OLED version 2 Ipad will have arrived.
