Too many finger prints!

I just received a 3 pack of antiglare on e bay and it is AWESOME! You can't see the fingerprints, and I had been wiping a couple of times a day...idk if apple sells one though

well I wish Apple would have included a display cleaning cloth like they do with the Macbook Pro, that works very good on the IPad and makes sense.

I see many types of antiglare screen protectors on ebay, can you tell us which ones you purchased, also did it cut down on clarity?

Are you telling me that you can see finger prints while the ipad is on and using it? Because I can only see them when it's off and why should that bother me?

I usually hate smart-*** answers on any forums but i have to say your question is bit odd. I mean it's a glass that you have to touch with greasy fingers. Conversation kinda ends there. It's like going to a doctor and complaining about skin redness after scratching yourself in one spot. Either don't touch it or get some sort of protection for it.

I just got the spray cleaner from Monster. It came with 2 bottles and a micro fiber cloth for 14 bucks and gets it looking new.

Seriously people. Enough whining already! It's a touchscreen.....

I bought a pack of microfiber towels, and presto, no more fingerprints with two quick wipes! NO need for any spray, cloth makes the iPad screen look like new! This is not rocket surgery!

what type of anti glare did you get? my screen shows tons of prints. I am guessing they didn't use same coating as 3GS as that shows no prints.

Duro-Med has a solution to the oily finger tip problem, latex finger cots.

Perhaps Duro_med will come out with an anti-glare and/or clear version soon. Nice to see your finger tips minus the latex coloring! 🙂

In the meantime I have been using microfiber cleaning cloths, which do a very good job of removing oily residue. Cleaning with microfiber cloths certainly is a nuisance, but a small price to pay for the convenience of finger controlled computing. My concern is that excessive cleaning, even without any liquids, will eventually hasten deterioration of the oleophobic coating. Hopefully, by then the OLED version 2 Ipad will have arrived.

I use my sleeve; it works fine and is cheap, too.
