Freezing when watching video from ABC app

This happened twice yesterday. A hard reset, which deleted all of my apps when it re-synced to itunes, was the only way to get it to unfreeze. I deleted the ABC app but in the process of reloading my apps I missed the latest episode of Lost. Tried again tonight to watch Lost after downloading ABC app and less than 2 minutes in - frozen.

Any thoughts short of bringing it back?
