iPad is not showing TV Show titles in Video

This is a new one for me.

I've imported some MP4 files into iTunes that I want to be seen in iTunes and iPad as TV Shows. For all the MP4 entries in question I have set in Get Info:
- Options | Media Kind: TV Show
- Video | Show, Season Number, Episode Number
- Info | Name, Artist, Album Artist, Album

The videos play fine and show up in a playlist I have (via the iPod app). However, in Videos, I only see a thumbnail and no Text of any kind. If I click the thumbnail, I see a list of episodes but I only see the "Info | Name" - never any of the other information I've entered... to get around that I gave each of the Episodes their own name (i.e. Show Name 01, Show Name 02) but otherwise, I'd never know which episode was which.

I'm at a loss and the only two web pages I've seen on this involve iTunes 7; I'm on iTunes 9.1 and I did everything I can think of to have the meta data show up.

Thanks!

I'm having the exact same issue. I can't tell which show is which sometimes depending on how distinctive the thumbnail is.

Had posted elsewhere, then got tipped to this Thread. I'm having the same problem with no titles in the TV section of videos... with one interesting complication: One of my TV shows DOES have a title, but I've looked and looked but can't see anything that's different in the Get Info windows or anywhere else. I don't have a clue...

Also having this same issue with the Video app on my iPad. It's irritating enough having to use a separate app for music and videos, along with losing the ability to have video playlists, but having to go into every single series/season section just to see what the **** the actual video is is ridiculous! I can't even rely on series artwork as most of the vids don't show any (completely intermittent, and no way I can see to set it properly). This has been going on for way to long with any sign of Apple trying to fix it. I tend to watch more videos on my iPhone simply because I can easily and quickly find what I want to watch, and queue up episodes I want as a result.

No go for me either, as the os gets more buzzers and bells the more like windows it gets 😊 the stupid thing is that it all works fine under windows.

It has somthing to do with the size of the graphics as when it is syncing if you look on the ipad the text with the season is there but it looks like the graphics then loads over it. Anybody any idea how th get over this stupid stupid issue. come on Apple pull your finger out we have all paid you good money for your products and we deserve support 😠
