Java update
A website I visited said I needed a java update. Java is enabled on my safari browser on the iPad but how do I update it if necessary?

You cannot. You'll have to wait for an OS update for the iPad.

I thought the iPad does not support Java. Maybe it says you need an update because java isn't installed at all?

No it isn't. Java and Javascript are totally different things. The iPad does not support Java.
Thanks Tom for the quick response. Do you know if apple will be moving to support java in an update in the future?
Java won't come to iOS. In Apple's eyes it is old, outdated technology, just like Flash.
