Downgrading from 8GB 3.1.3 software to 3.1.2 itouch 3G

is there a way to downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 on a 8GB 3G itouch model? or can i send it to apple and see if they can do it?

If you're near an Apple Store/Genius Bar, they're probably your best solution.

Why do you need to downgrade the software? The main reason would to be to jailbreak a Touch, and while you won't find the answer here, you'll find several YouTube videos online.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have had nothing but problems with my iPod since I downloaded 3.1.3. Until a new upgrade release, I would just rather go back to 3.1.2.
If anyone knows how to downgrade, it would be much appreciated.

ya but the youtube videos wont wont tell you how to jailbreak itouch 3g MC models. they only tell you about jailbreak 3.1.3 non mc models and since i have the mc model i cant jailbreak.

Download the required firmware, and hold shift and click restore, and find the downloaded file. There ya go.
