error 404 406

Hi I could open my photo workshop website 2 days ago and my friends can so its not the site? but now I get a error 404 406 when I go there? please help!!!

24"imac, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Your old Internet stick? How many of them do you have? Those things install some very low quality software. If you stop using one brand, you MUST uninstall it using a provided uninstaller program.

At this point, I think you need to uninstall the software from both of them and reinstall only the new one.

It may be time to to a full backup and then reinstall your entire operating system.

as far as I can remember I did uninstall it that way but.....?

I did a backup last night with TM

will that save ALL my programs,settings, cause some I don't have disks for:(

if I wanted to burn a program to a disk would I just go to Applications, find the program and right-click it and choose burn to disk, is that the right way of doing it?

I don't want to lose anything, but this problem

No. But without the original disks, you are going to have problems with them later.

Check again with those proxies. If I remember from your system profile log, you do have proxies in use for about 6 out of your 7 network devices. You may also have multiple network locations. You might also consider taking it in to an Apple Store, not Best Buy.
