Problem with new Apple Cinema Display 24".

I can't get new Apple Cinema Display to work. I've got 13 inch MacBookPro with Mini Display Port and it definitely works with other external display. However, when I connect 24" cinema display it doesn't demonstrate any signs of life. It remains black. I tried to reboot, detect display, reset PRAM and that didn't help. Even macbook's screen doesn't blink when I connect the display.

Also, mag safe port works fine but USB port on the back of the display doesn't work, so I suspect it might be a problem with power supply inside the display.

Does any on have any suggestions or had similar problem?

Thanks,
Dennis

I am having the exact same problem (and have taken the exact same steps); what's more is that I have two identical 24" Cinema Displays (one for work, one for home). It only happens on my home display. The only (suboptimal) solution I have found is to unplug the power cable from the back of the monitor, then reinsert it. THEN plug the microDVI back into the MacBook, and it works fine...until the next time I reconnect.
