Bass Beats By Dr. Dre Studio

Hey everybody,

I know this has nothing to do with iTunes for Mac, but I've a problem with my new Beats Studio. Hopefully I will get an answer because I paid 300 euro for this pair of headphones. Before I bought them, I heard some fabulous things about the bass. I've had the Bose On-Ear and the Beats Solos. Both had a super strong bass, maybe too strong. So for a pair of headphones that's twice the price, I expected a bass that kicks like I've never heard before. Now, it doesn't. I've got them now for 3 days, but the bass isn't that strong. My solos had 3x the bass.

Now I ask if this is normal or are my drivers broken? The clarity and detail is far superior against my Bose OE or my solos, but the bass is inferior...

Anyone?

I have the in-ear beats with control talk. I thought they performed quite well when compared to Bose in ear phones. The Bose in ear had more bass however, just like you mentioned in your post, Dr Dre in ear phones were much clearer with crisp sound. The only other in ear phones that sounded better to me than the beats were the Klipsch S4 image.
I also have the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. I compared those to the Dr Dre headphones (Studio). I would have to agree with you on your comments in your post.

If you have a iPod touch 4g or iPhone 3 or higher, download an app called EQu from the app store. It allows you to make your own EQ and honestly it is really awsome. I have the Beats by Dre Studios and i was sad when i got them because the bass wasn't as strong as the Solos but a guy from Geek Squad at Best Buy let me use his phone with my headphones and i was really impressed with what the Studios can do with the right EQ. I highly reccomend you get that EQu app for your iPod thouch 4g or iPhone 3 or higher. Trust me you will not be disapointed. If you get the app then if you want give me your e-mail and i will sent you a picture of the perfect EQ setting for the Studios.
