I've got a few files on my iTunes that won't transfer to my Ipod. I've got all my Alice Cooper CDs on iTunes, yet one CD (Zipper Catches Skin) won't transfer to my Ipod. What's up?
No, there's no error message. As far as I can tell, none of my other CDs have a problem syncing. There's still a little over 40 gigs left. I'm thinking maybe it's the CD itself. Yet, I have CDs that were printed before this one and they worked fine.
I'm having the exact same problem. I just received these 5 brand new CD's from Amazon, Priority Mail. I imported all 5 CD's into iTunes. My Music, in iTunes, shows all 5 albums as part of my library. However, when I plug the USB into the computer and then into my 32GB iTouch to sync, it syncs properly, but without those 5 brand new CD's. Why is this happening. If I only had a couple hundred songs I wouldn't mind resetting or restoring it, but it's about 4 months old and I'm already facing these issues? If anyone out there knows what a solution may be, please let me know. You can even contact me via email @ damonj_3@yahoo.com
Thank you!
Try putting the CD's into another player first. For example if your using a PC put them into Windows Media Player and the import them into itunes. And then sync. Give that a try and see what happens. Sometime the CD's them selves have copy right software right on the CD that stops them from being copied around. Its possible that could be an issue in your cases.
Since my original post I have found DOZENS of CDs that refuse to sync to my Nano. I have listened to all of these CDs many, many times and have since synced other CDs to my Nano just fine. This is becoming a huge pain in my ***. Someone help.
I don't know if it will work, but if you are automatically synching, maybe you could try switching to handling it manually and bring them over like that, and then switch back.
