Why is my Mac freezing?
Sometimes I will be working on my MacBook and when I have to leave, or something, I will shut it and just let it go into stand-by mode. However, when I open it back up to sign in and use it again, the screen to put my password on won't come on. The screen is black but I know the computer is on because I hear it and I can see the cursor. Am I doing something wrong to cause this?
So far I have just been shutting it down by keeping the power button pressed and restarting my computer. Is this bad for my computer? Is there any other way I can do this without harming my computer?
Note: It doesn't happen every time I close my computer. It also doesn't seem to matter if I move my computer after I close it or not, it will happen both ways.
