Anyone NOT having issue with WiFi????

With all the posts concerning wifi issues, anyone whose wifi is working flawlessly???

I know only the problems get reported, so I was just curious as to how many are NOT experiencing any difficulty whatsoever...

I'm expecting my wifi 3g "shipping in late April"..... I have an older linksys WRT54G and was wondering if I need to start looking for a new router...

I have had the I pad since the first day and have had virtually no problems with the exception of signal getting indoor signal strength from the wireless provider.

At home there is no problem at all. I am using an airport extreme dual band(an older version that only can stream one at a time) along with cox cable 20 mbh internet speed.

The only thing I did was change to single band g only on the airport since all of my wireless devices at home had trouble streaming unless I had it set to g only. I get 5 to 8 mbh download speeds at home for streaming.

When I go indoors in a large casino(where I use the ipad mostly) I either use a clearspot or tether from my iphone. So its either 4g through clearspot or 3g through iphone. Both from time to time have inconsistent download speeds that make it difficult to stream video.

I have been thinking about going to a sprint overdrive..but they use the same tower as clear. But I read somewhere that the clearspot was designed for 3g and that clear throttles the signal so you cannot get the full download speeds from 4g you can get from sprint. The only thing is I hate to commit to a 2 year contract that sprint requires.

In any event the only problem I have had is related to the wireless provider indoors.

All those with no problems obviously don't stay in motels. I can connect with iPhone 4 all the time but with ipad2 can not connect at any motel with password. Was on phone with Apple for 30 minutes and after doing everything they asked ( which I had already done the night before) they say it's the motel router, which may and probably is true. But I asked him one question which he never could answer without blaming hotel. WHY CAN I CONNECT WITH MY IPHONE BUT NOT IPAD. There is definitely an issue with the iPad compatibility with public (to include motels, etc) WIFI. I stay at hotels approximately 80 days a year and this was my 1st trip with IPad 2 and very disappointed to say the least. Maybe Apple will take action on all the complaints (search support wifi and hotels) and either be honest with buyers or fix the problem. I would not recommend this product to anyone without 3G option which costs additional money for product and then there monthly plans..
