iTunes 9.1.1 Available for Download

iTunes 9.1.1 has been made available. This is the information that is posted with it for what it is supposed to address.

iTunes 9.1.1 provides a number of important bug fixes, including:

• Addresses a conflict with some third-party software which may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit
• Addresses issues with converting songs to 128 kbps AAC while syncing
• Addresses other issues that improve stability and performance


iTunes 9.1 comes with several new features and improvements, including:


• Sync with iPad to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on the go

• Organize and sync books you've downloaded from iBooks on iPad or added to your iTunes library

• Rename, rearrange, or remove Genius Mixes

And I don't believe it will be mentioned specifically. However, for me, I'm kinda leary to download it since I've not had any issues with mine. I have a 3G running 3.1.3, with Vista Home Premium 64-bit, iTunes 9.1.0.79, Outlook 2007 and have not had a single issue with mine. Everything has synced perfectly. So I'm going to wait a little bit before I download it myself.

Glad I have not loaded it if the sync does not work with Office 2007. I can't believe Apple has not addressed this major problem. On the weekend I removed all apple applications (itunes, quicktime, app support, bonjour, etc. etc.) and loaded Itunes 9.0.3.15 back on. I killed my old library file so I had to reload my music into itunes and re-create all my playlists, but it was worth it to get back syncing with Outlook 2007.
