iPad 3G ATT Activation with PO Box on Credit Card?

My credit cards that I would use to set up my wireless access on the iPad 3G use a P O Box address, but, when you attempt to login on the iPad it says PO Box are unacceptable as a billing address. If you call ATT they say it's an Apple issue, anyone with an idea about a work around where I can still get the iPad activated, but, can still get my credit card bills?

Took iPad to At&t store. After a sales rep listened to my address problem, she got the manager. The manager tried see the problem, he then call AT&T came back and looked at iPad again re-booted and still no address solution. I ask if other iPad owners have stopped in the store with this problem, he said " up until today we had none, but today I was the fourth." One customer tried to use 5 different credit cards all with the "Street" address - did not work. I could see the manager was frustrated. He went in the back room and called his AT&T office, came out and said there was a problem I they were trying to fix it, said Apple and AT&T were going back and forth on who was at fault. I said I would wait a day and see what happens. Just as I was about to leave another customer was directed to the manager and pulled out his iPad. I said to the manager "here is number five for the day.

After reading several post here is wait I did for SOLUTION:

I entered all my information, credit card number etc., but for the address I put in my Post Office address and zip. I had to do this two times but then it processed. I am now on a data plan.

Make sure that in your "settings" that the "APN" is blank and "cellular data is" ON and "data roaming" is ON, you can change after a successful sign up. HOPE THIS HELPS.

There is good news and bad news. The bad news is when AT&T goes to charge your card next month, it will kick back because the billing address does not match. The good news is I found the solution........Google the post office where you have the PO box, and enter that street address. It will allow your credit card to be verified, without entering the actual "PO Box" text which AT&T is looking for. It works, and will keep working each month as the PO Box address is the same as the street address for the post office.

AT&T has updated the registration to allow for using a PoBox for billing and entering a "service address" separate. In order to get the registration to work the service address must be in a 3G coverage area.
I think the phone # is based on the service area.
AT&T needs to change the prompt during a failed registration to state that the "service address" is not in a 3G coverage area. It took about 5 min for the 3G to work after registration. You will still get service in an Edge area where 3G is not available.
I had to use my company address in a 3G area to make mine work.

I normally have a 3g account with Rogers in Canada, but decided to try ATT for an extended visit in the US to avoid roaming charges. I dropped in to an ATT store and after some rapid searching of databases, they decided that it was perfectly alright to just give me a SIM card, no charge. I ran up against the problem that ATT's software can't handle a Canadian billing address. I then tried the Visa gift card solution. That didn't word initially. You have to register the card online and set up a name and address profile, and then wait a couple of hours for it to become active. The ipad was able to activate a data plan once the registering and waiting had been done. A downside is that there is a $4 fee tacked on to the price of most gift cards at the time of purchase. An upside is that with an exact amount gift card, you won't have to worry about forgetting to cancel an automatically renewing credit card charge.

This would not work for me because my Post Office's physical address is NOT in the same Postal/Zip code as the boxes within the Office's location. In other words, all of the P.O. Box's including mine which is my bill-to Zip code, DO NOT match that of the physical street address zip code for the post office.

Now what?
