Safari does not save history

Hello everyone,

please help.

I dont understand. Safari does not save my history.

The seetings are correct, I've tried everything, manual, 1 year etc ...

After 1 or 2 days ... pouf ... the history is deleted ... any ideas ?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

no need to answer me. apperantly i had private browsing on, and that was the problem all along. it may also be your problem so you may wana check that out.

i'm having the same issue on mac os 10.8.5 safari 6.0.5

it hasn't saved any history in a while. i've tried the suggestioons on this thread.
