Fully Charged iPad

Okay so I know that Apple recommends that you should completely drain your iPad at least once a month, but what do you do when your charging it up. What I mean is once you see The iPad at 100% Battery should you disconnect it? or if not using it keep it charged until you need it.

Heard some postings on the net that you should disconnect your iPhone/iPad once it hits 100%. If you dont will this damage the battery?
