Random chime

I have an iPhone 3GS that started to chime randomly. When it happens, there are no txt msgs, emails, voice mails, or alerts from installed apps. The chime is three tones that sounds like the morse code for the letter "U". Anyone familiar with this. It started about a month ago for no apparent reason.

Hmm, now we might me getting somewhere because I do have the Comcast app. What causes the chime? A new (comcast) email? It could explain why I don't hear it that much since I don't actively use the email account for anything. Let me test this out...

Yep- comcast app. All that for a mystery chime haha. Thanks E.C.H. I still can't speak for young768 who started this thread... He/she said that is sounded like morse code letter "U" and the comcast app notification I think is more of a letter "K". Oh well, at least my question is answered. Thanks!

For me the mystery chimes were coming from my Comcast App, telling me I've received email - even though I had turned off push notification sounds.

I call bug - maybe it's a problem with the iOS 4 API and other apps are suffering from the same issue.
